EFESO Assists Louis Laurent in its Expansion Journey to Achieve ETI Status

Louis Laurent, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship in setting, assembly, and engraving of luxury jewelry, is embarking on a significant expansion initiative.

The jeweler recently announced the opening of a new production facility in Rebais, Seine-et-Marne, slated for the first quarter of 2025. This strategic move comes as Louis Laurent aims to attain the status of an Intermediate-sized Enterprise (ETI), with a substantial investment of €25 million.

The new manufacturing plant, currently under construction on a 3-hectare site, will span 7,700 square meters, representing a substantial increase compared to the existing facility. Laurent Laroche, Founder and CEO of Louis Laurent, emphasized the necessity of this expansion, stating, "Our current workshop has become too small and is no longer suited to meet industrial demands."

With a revenue exceeding €25 million in 2023, Louis Laurent caters to prestigious clientele, including leading French jewelry houses. The new facility is expected to accommodate 200 employees, including 150 new hires, over an 18-month recruitment period. Laroche stressed the importance of retaining the company's skilled workforce, many of whom reside within a 20-kilometer radius of Rebais.

To support its growth aspirations, Louis Laurent enlisted the expertise of EFESO Management Consultants, a Paris-based consultancy specializing in industrial operational challenges. Laroche articulated the necessity of professional guidance in enhancing the company's performance and quality, crucial steps towards achieving ETI status within the next three to five years.

Sylvère Ode, Vice President of EFESO Management Consultants, outlined the recruitment strategy aimed at strengthening key functions within the organization. Ode highlighted the significance of roles such as financial controllers and quality managers, essential for scaling operations beyond €30 million in revenue. With ambitious targets set for the future, Louis Laurent aims to achieve €100 million in revenue by 2030.
